Brazil takes to the field to start their World Cup match against Cameroon at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, CA.   These images were taken with a Kodak 110 camera from my fifty-yard line seat.  I scored these amazing tickets earlier that day; all it took was waking up at 3 a.m. and lining up shortly after to be one of the lucky fans to purchase tickets released the day of the event.

Brazil would go on to win the World Cup 94 title beating Italy in the final match.

Here are some images of the “One Tree Hill” filming. The crew filmed several locations during the day and night around town for a week. These photos were taken in front of the Egyptian Theatre, an iconic landmark here in Park City. The Park City episode airs this Monday May 17, on the CW Television Network.

It’s still snowing in Utah, and doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon. I miss the warm California Spring weather that I grew up with.

Trent Nelson said it best, “Sometimes other people’s strobes piss me off, sometimes they make me happy.”  Thanks to a mothers on camera strobe, this image has a special pop to it.

We received more than five feet of snow in the past week, with the Monday night storm dropping more than  24 inches of fresh pow in 24 hours.  The storm is gone, but the snow is here to stay.  Spring is a let down in Park City, since we really never get warm weather until June. That’s part of life when you live at 7000 feet.

Tuesday morning  I woke early to get some snow features in Park City.  Soon I  headed off to the Utah Olympic Park to cover Republican National Committee officials  visiting the UOP as part of their evaluation of Salt Lake’s bid for the 2012 party convention.

Heading toward the UOP, the road conditions were treacherous and very dangerous.  Halfway up the road to the UOP I was engulfed in  whiteout conditions, and drove off the road into a snow bank.  Once I realized why my car wasn’t moving, I just slammed the Subaru in reverse and continued up the road driving with minimal visibility.

Hamburger and I sit in my car waiting for the arrival of Michael Steele, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, and his group.  Thirty minutes pass before we receive the information that the event has been canceled.

After leaving the UOP I drive to the Pinebrook neighborhood  to get some more snow features.  Pinebrook had been issued a severe weather warning and individuals were advised not to enter Pinebrook neighborhood.
